MODEM XR

Modem XR, equipment consists of modulator and demodulator (audio signal levels: RS-232). Possible frequencies for being transmitter and receiver through a radio transceiver (VHF or UHF) or telephone line. The used modulation type is FSK, configurated in accordance with Bell 202 or CCITT V.23 that allows a maximum transmission velocity of 1200 bauds. The equipment operates with a power source of 12 VDC and the maximum consumption is 30 mA. An optional quality of the modem unit is the possibility to control the communication line through programed time delays; used by equipments RS-232 which operate without handshake, only with Tx and Rx data line.
